About Counselling in Your Community - Hazel Hill
Affordable, friendly Counselling in Sheffield and South Yorkshire specialising in anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, abuse, trauma, self-esteem and work issues. I also work on-line by email, text chat or webcam.
There are times we are faced with problems that are difficult to deal with alone. Bereavement, anxiety, depression, trauma and work-related issues can all affect us in different ways. As a counsellor I will listen to you without judging you and provide you the time and space to help you explore your difficulties and work with you towards a solution. We shall build a trusting relationship so that your problems can be fully explored at your own pace. I will help you find alternative ways to move forward from your present position in a warm, safe and confidential environment free from distractions.
I can help to address a range of issues: Anger Management, anxiety and panic attacks, bereavement and loss, career change, career counselling, depression and low mood, eating disorders, low self esteem, relationship difficulties, self harm, stress, trauma, work related issues including redundancy, retirement and stress.
I offer both short-term and long-term work. Sometimes, the help you need may be specific, focused and short-term, maybe up to six sessions, as you find your way through a difficult period in your life. At other times, you may wish to explore deeper issues and the work may span over a longer period, perhaps several months or years.

I provide counselling in Netheredge Sheffield which is conveniently located near the city centre. Free car parking is available.
I am trained as an on-line counsellor and can also offer on-line counselling via Skype, email and Instant Messaging. On-line counselling is an appealing alternative for clients who are out of geographical area, for clients who live in remote places, those with difficulties with transport or childcare costs and also when illness or disability would prevent someone from accessing counselling. I offer a complimentary 20-minute session to decide whether counselling via Skype could be an appropriate and effective way forward.
